August 9-10, 2013 will be a Sales Tax Holiday for Georgia shoppers. It applies mainly to clothing and is intended to coincide with back-to-school shopping needs. The exemption is for clothing and footwear with a sales price of $100 or less per item. The exemption excludes accessories such as jewelry, handbags, umbrellas, eyewear, watches and watchbands.
