HLB Gross Collins, P.C.’s Rescue Dog

From our 10th story window that overlooks a wooded area, HLB Gross Collins, P.C. team members have been observing a stray dog for several weeks.  When firm members initially tried to rescue her, she got scared and ran away.  Since she was reluctant to get close to humans, firm members set up a food and water station for the dog and have been filling up bowls daily over the past several weeks to make sure she didn’t go hungry.  With colder days drawing near, we were becoming more and more concerned about the dog’s well being without having a roof over her head.  After researching options, firm members set up a cage in order to safely trap the pup and hopefully transport her to a pet rescue facility.  The mission was success and we are pleased to announce that yesterday, the dog was delivered to Atlanta Pet and Rescue Adoption and is soon to be adopted into a loving home.  To read the story as posted on the rescue facility’s website, click here.

All of these people, along with several other firm members were integral in looking out for Reed’s well-being and getting her to safety. She should be in her new home in plenty of time for Christmas.
