HLB Gross Collins, P.C. places
great emphasis on the well-being of our team, our clients and the community. There
is much uncertainty as COVID-19 cases continue to rise. We would like to advise
you that we have a business continuity plan with appropriate technology in
place that will allow for continued operations as the situation
evolves.
At this time, we do not have
plans to close our office although we have the ability to work remotely if it
becomes necessary. We have asked
employees to be proactive in adhering to best practices as recommended by the
CDC. We have also requested our team to inform management of any connections to
known cases or international travel.
We have technologies and policies
in place that will help minimize face-to-face contact and potential exposure.
Below is an overview:
- Electronic Document Sharing/Portal - We strongly encourage you to utilize our secure two-way online portal for transferring documents. This portal can be accessed via our website with your personal username and password. This will allow for secure sharing of documents without requiring an office visit.
- Travel
and Client Meetings - We
have videoconferencing capabilities and the ability to host virtual meetings. In an effort to avoid unnecessary
meetings and gatherings we will use these options in lieu of physical meetings
whenever possible.
Previously scheduled onsite client work will be addressed on a case by case
basis with you by your Client Service Principal. All non-essential
travel has been postponed.
- Electronic Signatures - By using DocuSign, we can obtain signatures electronically. This allows for secure completion of documentation in the most efficient manner while minimizing contact.
We appreciate your business and
we will successfully and safely navigate the challenges brought about by
COVID-19. If you have any questions,
please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
