During the October 3 – 5 sales tax holiday, the following items will be exempt from sales tax if they are purchased for noncommercial home or personal use:
ENERGY STAR® products with a purchase price of $1,500 or less per item
• Air conditioners
• Ceiling fans
• Clothes washers
• Dehumidifiers
• Dishwashers
• Doors
• Fluorescent light bulbs
• Refrigerators
• Windows
WaterSense® products with a purchase price of $1,500 or less per item
• Bathroom sink faucets and accessories (such as aerators)
• High-efficiency toilets
• High-efficiency urinals
• Showerheads
• Weather- or sensor-based irrigation controllers
The exemption does not apply to items purchased for use in a trade or business.
