HLB Kallen Raeven and HLB Van Daal & Partners, two of HLB International’s members in the Netherlands, have merged effective from January 1, 2013. Developments in the market and in legislation have made this a logical step for both organizations, who have collaborated for many years within the HLB network and regard each other as sound and reliable partners.
The merger strengthens HLB’s position in the Brabant and Limburg markets where the two firms are based and offers better future prospects for clients, expertise sharing opportunities for the firms as well as new opportunities for existing staff.
Both organizations are fully familiar with the dynamics of local businesses and have strong regional roots, while their membership with HLB offers them great competitive advantage and the opportunity to expand international work through the network.
The merged firms have 250 staff together of which 21 partners in three offices in Limburg and nine offices in Brabant.
While HLB Van Daal & Partners and HLB Kallen Raeven will continue to operate under their own names for the time being, they will start looking for a single new name in March.
